question about restarting a build (failing)

Hello

I am trying to test and validate the patch which Yann posted to
validate the OSX buildchain.

However, when I do ./ct-ng step+ or export RESTART=step; ./ct-ng build
I get the following

[INFO ] Restoring state at step 'debug', as requested.
[ERROR]
[ERROR] >>
[ERROR] >> Error happened in: CT_DoExecLog[scripts/functions]
[ERROR] >> called from: CT_DoForceRmdir[scripts/functions@357]
[ERROR] >> called from:
CT_DoExtractTarballIfExists[scripts/functions@1066]
[ERROR] >> called from: CT_DoLoadState[scripts/functions@1137]
[ERROR] >> called from: main[scripts/crosstool-NG.sh@572]
[ERROR] >>
[ERROR] >> For more info on this error, look at the file: 'build.log'
[ERROR] >> There is a list of known issues, some with workarounds, in:
[ERROR] >> 'docs/B - Known issues.txt'
[ERROR]
[ERROR] Build failed in step 'Dumping user-supplied crosstool-NG
configuration'

This happens regardless of the step - even for the very 1st step.
Build.log says nothing special.

.config exists and has CT_DEBUG_CT_SAVE_STEPS=y and
CT_DEBUG_CT_SAVE_STEPS_GZIP=y

What am I doing wrong?

Is there a way to restart my build?
