Thanks Khem. I managed to resolve the problem by adjusting my PATH 
variable correctly :
PATH=$PRJROOT/bin:$PATH instead of
PATH=$PRJROOT/bin:$PRJROOT/$TARGET/bin:$PATH

However, now i am getting the same error as with crosstools-0.42
(see my other posting).
