building glibc headers step needed in gcc 3.4.3

Hi

According to http://gcc.gnu.org/PR8180 update PR8180 is fixed in gcc 3.4. Is it still needed to do the glibc-headers build step for gcc 3.4.3
or is this step skipped.
I was failing the build for core gcc for i386 where is complained
from ../../gcc/crtstuff.c:66:
../../gcc/config/i386/linux.h:221:20: signal.h: No such file or directory
../../gcc/config/i386/linux.h:222:26: sys/ucontext.h: No such file or directory

If I do the glibc-headers step as in crosstools.sh then it builds ok.

Thanks

Khem
