Why not try the latest of everything, and see if it at least builds? gcc-3.4.3 is pretty good in general...
I am asking before to avoid facing the same problems like others ...
You can see a partial matrix of what worked for me at http://kegel.com/crosstool/crosstool-0.28-rc37/buildlogs/0.28/ It only goes up to powerpc-440, but that's at least some assurance that it'll work with other powerpc models.
And "the latest of everything" means CVS!?
No, I meant the 'latest release'. e.g. gcc-3.4.3, glibc-2.3.3 (I think 2.3.4 is out, but I haven't tried it).
When are you going to release crosstool-0.28-rc38 or maybe even crosstool-0.28?
