But the ELDK has the problem that it can only be build on ancient Red Hat 7.3 systems. And I don't want to install use it.
I'd prefer to build the toolchain myself on the host I am going to use to compile my applications.
That's why I am asking for a combination of compiler, glibc and kernel that works with crosstool.
Why not try the latest of everything, and see if it at least builds? gcc-3.4.3 is pretty good in general... - Dan
