Re: Mips cross compiler for cygwin

In the --prefix directory, the installation process creates a directory called sys-include. You want to nuke that directory after installation, because sometimes I have observed that gcc will get (erroneous) headers from _that_ directory instead of the usual place. Haven't tracked down the root problem.

All GNU toolchains should nuke sys-include during the build process, as far as I can tell.

For what it's worth, gcc-3.3.3 and later will avoid doing the sys-include crud if you enable --with-sysroot. I support that now in crosstool because it's required to get a working x86_64 toolchain. This might be the way to go for all architectures in the future. - Dan
