Re: JTAG Pod?

D'oh! Yes, the BDI2000 does need TFTP. Forgot that.

RedHat and Debian (the two distos I use) have TFTP server installation packages.

# up2date tftp-server

or,

# apt-get install tftp-server

Running RedHat here at work. Never used up2date (in the past, I've just hunted down the rpms and installed them manually). Probably something I need to learn...

Is the LH79520 and ARM9? If so (I can't recall, and I'm too lazy to go look it up), I can report that the BDI works fine with it.

The LH79520 contains an ARM720T, which is ARM7TDMI with 8kb unified cache and an MMU. So far, I love this chip. Lots of useful silicon priced very reasonably. And once you've debugged with JTAG, well, (much like broadband vs. dialup) there just ain't no goin' back. :-)

Thanks for the reply.

With best regards,
