Hi, I am trying to build a GCC cross compiler for alpha-linux under RH7.3 system. I am using binutils-2.11.2 and gcc-3.2. My target is set to alpha-linux. The compilation failed when it tried to compile _muldi3.o (libgcc). The error is that the compiler can't find signal.h and sys/ucontext.h. I can copy some header files from the linux source tree configured as an alpha target, then modify linux.h in config/alpha to make it point to them, but it still doesn't work. I know it should be much easier to copy the header files and libraies from an alpha machine, but I don't have access to one now. Anyone has experience to build an alpha-linux cross compiler from scratch? I can't find a good howto on cross compiling alpha-linux under x86. Any advice? If someone can tell me where I can download a precompiled one, that would be great too. :) Thanks a lot! Tao -Tao Zhang (zhangtao@cc.gatech.edu) ------ Want more information?
