... If I want newlib instead instead of glibc, I seem to be out of luck with the crosstool script, as it makes no reference to newlib...
That's just because I am not using newlib, and the newlib checks were cluttering up the script; it seemed sensible to remove them until I had it working right. Feel free to add them back in, following Bill's original crossgcc script as an example. Building a toolchain with newlib is a lot easier than building one with glibc. - Dan
