Hi,

Did anybody try to compile a cross gcc for powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.2 on a
sparc-sun-solaris2.7 machine?

I tried using binutils-2.11.2, gcc-3.0 and newlib-1.9.0 and I keep getting
errors from gcc and newlib.

What I want is a cross gcc that can generate code for a PowerPC in xcoff
format (either AIX or not).

Do I need libraries or header files from the target machine or I can use
only newlib? If I need libraries or system files, where shuld I put them?
