I remember something some days ago... In my mind you are talking about:

which stands about gcc-2.9x and binutils-2.11. As I'm trying to build gcc-3.0, I
have used binutils-2.11.

Anyway, I tryied to build gcc-3.0 again using binutils-2.10.1, and I get exactly
the same result!!!

The error is "strange", because most of the stdc++ library is compiled with
"-mrelacatable" flag on, and I get the error only compiling the file
".../libsupc++/new_op.cc" ...  (in fact, the error is in the assembler, not in the
compiler...)

Someone desires to give another suggestion???

I'm thinking in post the original message into gcc-help list...
