I need to be able to determine exactly which optimizations will happen when different -O# options are used. The docs seem to tell which ones are turned on usually, but I need to be able to figure out precisely which ones are turned on for my target for each optimization level. This info must be somewhere in the gcc source, but I haven't been able to figure out where yet (awful lot of source to go at this blind...). Could someone point me in the right direction? BTW--if it matters my target is m68k-coff Thanks, - Steve -- Steve deRosier Embedded Software Engineer Vari-Lite International, Inc. ------ Want more information?
