Thanks to all of you who replied to my request concerning spam on the list... I think that was the biggest burst of traffic I've ever seen on crossgcc! Obviously, we have an issue that has been percolating for a while and now requires some attention. We want to reduce and hopefully eliminate this problem without making it a headache for legitimate posters. So we will start by making some relatively benign changes. Effectively immediately, only list members will be able to post to crossgcc. If this change presents major problems for any legitimate use of the list, please contact me directly (mailto: scott@objsw.com) to discuss the issue. Please let me know what effect (if any) this change makes to the junk mail traffic, by contacting me directly at the address above. Thanks again for your support.
