Hello I'm new on the list so greetings to everyone. I have to port RTEMS for a MC68340. So I got RTEMS doc and tried to install it. I run a PC under Cygwin 32 which successfully installed. I download binutils2.8.1, gcc2.8.0 and patches. But, when I try to cross-compile binutils 2.8.1, it fails. Here is what I get: $ cd binutils-2.8.1 ok $CC=gcc ./configure --target=m68k-coff --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld --enable-targets=all --prefix=/mydir --exec-prefix=/mydir ok $make CC="gcc" CFLAGS="-O4 -g" ok $make CC="gcc" CFLAGS="-O4 -g" install [.......] /binutils-2.8.1/install.sh -c -m 644 $f /gcc/lib/$tf; \ ranlib /gcc/lib/$tf; \ chmod a-x /gcc/lib/$tf; \ fi; \ done for i in size objdump nm.new ar strings strip.new ranlib c++filt objcopy addr2li ne ; do \ /binutils-2.8.1/install.sh -c -t='-e s,^,m68k-coff-, ' $i /gcc/bin/`echo $i | sed -e 's/.new//'` ; \ done cp: size: No such file or directory cp: objdump: No such file or directory cp: ar: No such file or directory cp: strings: No such file or directory cp: ranlib: No such file or directory cp: c++filt: No such file or directory cp: objcopy: No such file or directory cp: addr2line: No such file or directory make: *** [install] Error 1 make: *** [install-binutils] Error 2 Any help would be *very* appreciated!
