Hi, I'm trying to determine the current state of affairs with coldfire, specifically the mcf5206 (ie. -m5200 option). I've found David Fiddes page (http://www.calm.hw.ac.uk/davidf/coldfire.htm) and I've built a m68k cross compiler on a solaris 2.5.1 machine that seems happy enough to take the -m5200 option (using the win32 sources). What I'm confused about is some notes in the makefiles about the compiler support for coldfire is broken. ie. # CYGNUS LOCAL m5200 # The m5200 multilibs were removed because the compiler support is broken, # which causes a m68k devo to fail to build. The multilibs should be readded # when the compiler support is fixed. MULTILIB_OPTIONS = m68000/m68020 m68881/msoft-float MULTILIB_DIRNAMES = MULTILIB_MATCHES = m68000=mc68000 m68000=m68302 m68000=m68332 m68020=mc68020 m68020=m68040 # END CYGNUS LOCAL Can any of the Cygnus people tell me what works and what doesn't or where I can find such information?
