pseudo-literate-programming in bfd

All,
      do the "powers that be" yet realize that the pseudo-literate- 
programming source code style in bfd
is a mistake ?

I am not really that good a rhetoric, so I will not try to sway you  
now, I am just saying that from a software
engineer's point of view (and I am in the middle of a port of  
binutils myself) the documentation for
binutils isn't that great (M.R.Swami Reddy's doc is actually a good  
start in the right direction, and I
intend to add to and extend his work as I do my own port) and that  
the stuff in bfd is actually an impediment.

am I preaching to the choir or pissing into the wind ?
