I'm building binutils 2.18 to use with the MinGW toolchain on a Linux
platform for Windows cross-compilation.
The rc file doesn't resource correctly at all, for me, if it contains a
populated STRINGTABLE. I tried just using the STRINGTABLE contents from the
testsuite strtab1.rc file, instead of my content.
I configure and build binutils for source
$ ../configure --prefix=/root/mingw --target=i686-pc-mingw32 --with-gcc
--with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld --disable-nls --disable-debug
On Linux 2.6.20 i686
