Hi Roberto,

we have recently moved a large C/C++ multithreaded application (running on a PowerPC platform) from LinuxThreads to NPTL, and we are having problems we didn't see with the previous (i.e., LinuxThreads) configuration.

This is unlikely to be a binutils related problem (ie related to the linker). It is more likely to be a NPTL problem, so you are better off asking on the glibc or kernel mailing lists.

Binutils: 2.15

Binutils version 2.16 was released a while ago and the sources in the mainline of the binutils CVS repository are even better, so you might like to try one of these.
