Ok.  That clarifies what you were trying to say.  So, to answer this
variation of the question:

Forwarding to a redhat.com site whether it is masked by a
'sourceware.org' name or not, has always been a political problem.  Just
the mere existence of 'sources.redhat.com' in the header has been a
problem.

Or, concerned binutils maintainers could subscribe to the official list
and set up personal spam filters for it.
