Thanks, this fixed the problem I had.
Now I get another bug:
gcc -W -Wall -g -O2 -o .libs/size size.o bucomm.o version.o filemode.o ../bfd/.libs/libbfd.so ../libiberty/libiberty.a -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/opt/binutils/lib
../bfd/.libs/libbfd.so: undefined reference to `bfd_elf32_hppa_vec'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
