Linux/MIPS uses the ld from binutils 2.8.1 + patches for the entire
system including o32 DSOs. The newer ld versions are quite buggy for us
and at this time build bad kernel, symbol versioning does't work, spit
tons of messages I haven't yet had time to analyze etc. WIP, whenever
I find the time ...
