Four or five years ago there existed an alternate gas frontend which
understood Motorola mnemonics (move.l) rather than the grand unified
opcode theory (movl).
Does anyone know if this still exists, is maintained, etc?
It got merged into the mainline gas. m68k gas now understands both
MIT and Motorola syntax. Fortunately they can be mixed without
ambiguity. See the manual.
