since at least glibc-2.6.1, the timestamp between C-translit.h and
C-translit.h.in has been bjorked ... this causes unnecessary depend on perl and
regeneration of this file

Then fix up your check-out procedure.  I've this time forced a commit but won't
do that in future.

i dont know why you're telling me to change anything on my end.  the output i
showed you were tarballs from *your* site on sourceware.org.  clearly this has
nothing to do with an error on my part.
